Haircut Disaster

 I took Cass in to get a quick cut before picture day.... the lady butchered her hair... not once, but twice.  The first time it was just too long, so we went back in to have her cut it shorter.  This is what we got home with!

The next day... I got her an appt somewhere else and they fixed her up.  It was shorter than she has ever had it, but turned out ok in the end.

6th Grade Orientation

Brandon's middle school didn't have a tour or orientation day at the end of his 5th grade year like most other schools.  Instead, they have the parents drop them off for 4 hours the day before school starts so they can get their schedules, take a tour, and meet their teachers.  A first step in growing these (now) middle schooler's independence, and begin teaching them how to be self sufficient.
