 Ethan is feeling better and better.... he had a fun day of playing with a friend

 Followed by running around like crazy at Brandon's practice.

Oh, Happy Hippo Kidney Day!

We got to Ethan's DTU appointment and surprised all the nurses with how AMAZING he looked (they hadn't seen him for 5 days)

 After his blood draw, we had to wait until his labs were run before we knew what the day's plan was going to be.

 Fingers were crossed, hoping for good news!

 AND.... great numbers... his blood protein was higher than it has been in months... he got to skip treatment and go home with a lift of his fluid restriction.  So we went from hospital to Sonic for a celebratory slushie!

Painting and Creating

Thanks to a wonderful friend, Ethan had this awesome shirt, with his artwork, made for him and he got to paint it in.

 He was so careful....

Hello Easter Bunny!

Ethan woke up feeling amazing... we decided that it would be a good day to visit the Easter Bunny.

Day 3

Woke up to this beautiful scene this morning.

 Playroom and activity room... always trying something to keep him busy and distracted.

He did have a blast painting his bird houses though!

 He got all done with his birdhouses and we came back to the news that they were letting him go home! Yahoo!

 Ethan got a new hat from one of the nurses.  He thought it was the coolest hat ever!

 Ethan needed something to get him up and out of bed for a while.  We went back to the playroom again, but this time, improvised a soccer goal.

Thank goodness it was BINGO day!  Definitely a fun distraction!
