The Day After
He was really excited to get his new track put together so he could play with it
This I love.... so funny. You just say their name, when they look at you and see a camera pointed at them, the cheese is instantaneous!

Christmas Day
Grandma and Grandpa came to visit and played Santa/UPS drivers as they delivered gifts from all our Idaho family.
But first.... a feast!
The kids didn't hesitate when it was time to dive in and open some more gifts
These sure are some lucky (spoiled) kids!
After all the excitement everyone was winding down, so we decided it would be fun to end the night by taking a stroll down Peacock Lane to look at the lights.
Christmas Morning
The kids got up (not too early!) to see what Santa brought
Brandon got a new kindle, Cassidy got a lava lamp, and Ethan finally got his talking minion. Next it was time to empty the stockings before tearing into the rest of the gifts.
Cassidy got a kindle too! She was pretty excited
Cassidy made presents for everyone this year. She made Ethan a custom ornament with her pixos.

Christmas Eve
We have always done all our gifts and celebration on Christmas Eve, but this year was a little different. Jeff had to work (working nights right now), so we had to wait until Christmas morning to really dig in. I did, however, wrap a couple of things that the kids could open so they were ready for Christmas. :)
Annual Christmas PJs
After dinner and presents, the kids and I popped some popcorn and snuggled up on the couch to watch A Christmas Story before bedtime.
Milk and Cookies were set out for the big guy
They must have been good, because Santa left a special gift under the tree for each of them.

Annual Christmas Cookies
This year in the frenzy of activities, concerts, sports, and appointments, I managed to pick up everything we needed to make and decorate our Christmas cookies. Unfortunately, I forgot that I usually half my recipes. So, this year we had just a few more to decorate!
133 cookies, cut, baked, and beautifully decorated!!
