Ethan LOVES going in and looking at the wall of soccer cleats when we go into a sporting goods store.

Sticks and Stones... and ICE

This is as much of State Cup as Brandon is going to see this year. We drove all the way to Seattle... got to the field, and while heading out to warm up, Brandon hit black ice stepping of a stair, fell and hurt his arm.

He stayed until halftime, then we headed back toward home so we could get him to an urgent care.

Official diagnosis.... closed fracture of the lateral condyle of humerus.  Or more simply put... you done broke it, kid!

Snow Day

We actually got snow!

Sledding Hill is  hit!

Snow means the city shuts down.  Which also meant that the soccer practice Ethan had been looking forward to for the last month was also cancelled.  I had one bummed out little boy.

I forced him outside to play a little more and take his mind off of missing soccer. He was a little reluctant and first, but eventually came around.

It's Snowing!

It started off as just a little flurry, then it started dumping!

 5 hours later.... we have a big fluffy blanket of snow

 Midnight... and yes, half the neighborhood was still out playing in the snow. 

Friends, Fun, and a Little Snow

Ethan had a buddy over to play in the morning.  I walked into his room and found them playing xbox together from inside of his ball pit.

 After his buddy went home, it started spitting a little snow.  Not much, but just enough to play in with some of the neighbors. 

Mt. Hood

 It was a super sunny bright day, and I was driving to the store when I noticed how clear Mt. Hood was in the distance.  I just had to pull over, and get my camera out for a few pictures.  It's pretty cool to be able to look outside and see things like this every day. 

So Cozy

I went in to check on him before I went to bed and he was so cute and cozy, surrounded in all his pillows, that I couldn't resist snapping a picture.

20 degrees out... Shorts it is!

This kid is a nutball!  Shorts all year round.
