Day 2 at Silver Mountain

All dressed and ready to go!

Gma and Gpa came up to join us in the waterpark for a while.


The basketball pool was Brandon's favorite part of the whole place!!





At one point we did have to retreat back to the room for some lunch.
He will literally read ANYTHING! This is the info binder about the hotel.
Soon we were back to playing!







Cassidy was soooo proud of herself. She got on the wave rider and popped up on to her knees this time!

All done for the day, time to wind down.
Bathed, PJ'd and eating a little snack before bed.

Showing Off Her Skills

Cassidy had fun surfing again. She was so excited to get up onto her knees on the board. Of course, she is so light, that when her body came out of the water and there was no drag, there was also no control. The faster she jumped up onto her knees, the more spectacular the wipeouts became!

The two of them couldn't be more different! One is overly cautious, one throws all caution out the window!

We Made It!

Finally made it to Silver Mountain and looking forward to a fun-filled couple of days!




As you can see, I didn't bring my camera in to the park the first night. :) The kids played hard for a couple hours and then we came back to the room to relax and get ready for the days ahead.

Heading to the North Pole

Getting ready to board the boat that would take us to the North Pole.

It was a warm 5 degrees that night!


On the boat with a little extra time to mess around and have fun.

We couldn't convince Brandon to go see Frosty, but Cassidy jumped at the chance.
There's Santa!

The lights were as pretty as ever and the kids had a good time hearing their name read off by Santa and watching as the entire North Pole Village lit up.
Back inside the boat, we got warm and Brandon got very silly.
LOVE the ears!!!

Day to Day Stuff

While Brandon was downstairs playing, Cassidy made him a surprise and then decided to hide it and make a trail of arrows for him to follow. She drew an arrow on every little sheet of paper. The trail went from under the table through the dining room, down the hall, down both sets of stairs to Brandon's door. :) She worked very hard on it. At the end she placed a sign that said "Brandon, follow the arrows"
