Thank God For Electronics!

We had an unplanned stop at Aamco that resulted in waiting for over 3 hours in a place that has no waiting room. I am so thankful for the electronics we happen to drag around!

Jeff took the big kids to the waterpark for the day, so Ethan and I had to find something to do. We went outside to lounge in the yard for a while. Finally, a kid who likes to lie around out in the warm with me. :)

End of the Year Awards

Brandon and Cassidy had their last day of school today. :) They are officially out for the summer! Brandon didn't win the bike this year for attendance, but he did get 3 awards at the end of the year assembly. He was really excited. He got a Perfect Attendance Award, A Character Counts Award for all traits, and an Academic Achievement Award. Good Job Brandon!

Day 3 Starting to get used to this place

Doing a little early morning swinging.
Then we had a couple more visitors.
Before to long we had to get ready to take Ethan into the Dr. Office to get one more quick check before the weekend.
He went through his Dr. Appt with flying colors.. esp the pretty bright red color he turned as he was screaming his head off during the weigh and measure part. :) He was 8lbs 11 oz and the real kicker was that she measured him at 20.5 inches long. Apparently, at Sacred Heart they measure babies from top of head to tips of toes, where in ID they do top of head to heel. So.... he isn't quite as tall as they gave him credit for in the hospital. :)

Awww... loving his big brother. Brandon is quite fond of holding and cuddling his new little brother.


Could just be gas... but it was cute. :)

Day 2, Hospital, and Going Home!

I didn't get to see his eyes until the next morning... briefly, but he did flutter them open for me a few times!


All bundled up and ready to head home. Ethan is now 24 hours old!
Exploring all his "new" spaces. His pack n'play, and his swing....

Then, of course, the kids had to manhandle him some more before it was time for everyone to get ready for bed. :)
