Brandon got his first pair of Heelys. I was watching him trying to balance and a picture of the ER flashed before my eyes. On the other hand... he is sooo excited. He has wanted a pair for quite some time. He started by trying to hold onto the counter and find his balance. He could barely stand up. Then went on to having someone pull him while he tried to balance. We were running around in spokane, so he practiced in every store.
I was impressed. Brandon "no risk" Norton after only 1 1/2 hours in his new shoes.
We warned him... as soon as he is good enough to go zooming around in the stores is about the time we are going to start yelling at him to stop zooming up and down the aisles. Also, the agreement to buy the shoes included the "we CAN take your wheels away at any time for any reason" clause.
