Ready to start the race!
We were the first ones to show up in our color group. Jeff was 4 or 5 groups ahead of us, so we had to get there early for him which made our wait VERY long! Luckily, we found some big beach balls to entertain the kids for a little bit.
Lost interest in the balls... time to bring out the Ipods.
Trying to keep spirits high... and hoping those dark clouds keep going the other way!
I am pretty sure he outgrew this YEARS ago!!
Finally, we made it to the Starting Line!
The race had been going for well over an hour. Jeff called about 10 min after we started to let us know he had just finished!

Jeff walked back and met us at mile 5 so he could walk with us to the finish line.
About 5 1/2 miles in, genius struck. Wouldn't it be neat to take a picture of the kids at every mile marker?! Why didn't I think of this in the 2 1/2 hours we waited to start? Oh well. Maybe next year!

It was after 2... we had been standing outside since 7:30.... not to mention all the running and walking. We were STARVING!!! Red Robin never tasted so good.
